OPEN ON:

INT. HEATHER'S HOME - EVENING - HEATHER'S POV

CLOSE-UP SHOT HEATHER LEWIS - an eighteen year old with an attitude - has her hands on the piano keyboard. All that can be seen are her hands. This is from her point of view. Everything is a bit blurry. Prelude and Fugue n. 21 in B Flat Major by J.S. Bach is playing.

We hear the door open. We stay focused on Heather's hands.

HEATHER (O.S.)

(not looking up)

Are you going to kiss and tell?

DIANE (O.S.)

There was no kissing.

SHOT OF DIANE LEWIS - a frazzled woman in her early forties - enters wearing a fancy dress. Her hair is done up nicely. Diane drops her purse off by the door and drops her high heels - aka death traps. She gives no regard to the possibility of runs in her pantyhose.

DIANE (O.S.) (CONT'D)

There wasn't even a date.

The playing stops.
