In June of 2020, I started working as a volunteer researcher for Remember Their Names. It was a service to provide the stories, donation sites, and petitions for Black individuals killed largely at the hands of law enforcement and by other racially motivated ways. The site was a way to contribute to the Black Lives Matter movement while bringing all of these stories and services onto one platform. Additionally, we wrote blurbs on anti-racism books, TV, podcasts, teaching resources, etc.
For my role, I researched individuals who lost their lives, sought out media, and found Black artists to highlight.
The site can be found here.
